A moderator from GIMPforums.com and I had the following exchange:
I hope you do not take offence, but this forum tries to be religion neutral.
So by all means have a sig but not one pointing to a religious organisation.
To which I replied:
The fact that it seems my signature has been disabled without giving me the opportunity to change it demonstrates a level of intolerance rather than neutrality.
Please link me to the forum rules which point to this policy, restore my signature, or delete my account.
Here was my signature:
You don’t need money, position, or influence in order to create something of substance or beauty. Don’t let the voice of critics paralyze you—whether that voice comes from the outside or the inside. – Dieter F. Uchtdorf
Considering the quote didn’t even reference religion at all and that it linked to YouTube and not LDS.org makes this conversation even more preposterous.
So, is the forum moderator overreacting or am I in the bad? Let me know what you think–I’m interested to hear in both sides of the argument.
